check_circleVerifiedI had a great experience working with Ariel! I especially want to highlight the excellent communication throughout the process, as well as the final result. The mix and master turned out great, and Ariel really managed to make the track shine. Can't recommend enough!
check_circleVerifiedWorking with Ariel was an incredible experience from start to finish! He took my record to a whole other level the mix is polished, high-gloss, and my vocals sit so clean and present in the pocket. Beyond his incredible ear and technical skill, his communication and turnaround time were top-tier. When I asked for a stylistic tweak on the outro vocals, he understood the vision immediately and nailed it on the first try. A true professional and an absolute master of his craft.

Ariel always amazes me in how consumate he is with his professional mixes and masters. He has an incredible talent to synergize his technical wizardry with his passion for musical energy and vibes to take rough mixes to beautiful, powerful and magical places. What I value the most is that he places his ultimate care on the song and sound itself, which always shows in his actions. I can never recommend him highly enough!
Interview with Ariel Chobaz
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's a combination of analog and digital which allows me to have an unprecedented amount of control and automation
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Final mixing and mastering. I am able to adjust both throughout the mixing process, creating a synergy and marriage between the mix and the master that is undeniably musical, incredible sounding, and nearly impossible to beat
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being able to realize the artistic vision of an artist while creating impactful, meaningful, and commercial mixes
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Passion for the project and a desire to make the song the very best it can be, I am only as good as my latest mix
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start a mix and about half way through I start the mastering. This allows me to adjust both as I finish and finalize the mix to ensure I'm getting the most energy, impact, punch, depth, width, warmth, and clarity possible. I also request reference songs to ensure I nail the vision for the mix and master
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I am lucky that I get to work on an extremely wide range of genres and styles which keeps me learning, pushing, and passionate about all my projects.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Colleges and friends that inspire me would include Dave Pensado, Manny Marroquin, Serban Ghenea, and Jaycen Joshua to name a few
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I put the same amount of passion and effort into every project, no matter the budget
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, it comes down to what works for certain sounds and songs. I've found a combination provides the most benefit of both mediums
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I get to work on what I love most every day
