Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's a combination of analog and digital which allows me to have an unprecedented amount of control and automation
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Final mixing and mastering. I am able to adjust both throughout the mixing process, creating a synergy and marriage between the mix and the master that is undeniably musical, incredible sounding, and nearly impossible to beat
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being able to realize the artistic vision of an artist while creating impactful, meaningful, and commercial mixes
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Passion for the project and a desire to make the song the very best it can be, I am only as good as my latest mix
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start a mix and about half way through I start the mastering. This allows me to adjust both as I finish and finalize the mix to ensure I'm getting the most energy, impact, punch, depth, width, warmth, and clarity possible. I also request reference songs to ensure I nail the vision for the mix and master
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I am lucky that I get to work on an extremely wide range of genres and styles which keeps me learning, pushing, and passionate about all my projects.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Colleges and friends that inspire me would include Dave Pensado, Manny Marroquin, Serban Ghenea, and Jaycen Joshua to name a few
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I put the same amount of passion and effort into every project, no matter the budget
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, it comes down to what works for certain sounds and songs. I've found a combination provides the most benefit of both mediums
