Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I'm pleased to have achieved a platinum disk for Paul Woolford, Diplo & Kareen Lomax's - 'Looking for me' and a Grammy Nomination for Paul Woolford's Remix of The Knox feat. Drogonette - 'Slow Song'

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Pop Albums, Dance singles, Jungle/Experimental Albums

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Everyone in my reviews list that I've worked with. They've all been great!

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both, I work mainly in the box now (digital) but outboard analogue gear still stands alone and sounds amazing. I find a balance of both gives the magic.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: To get the best out of your project!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Its a way of life, being creative, helping others express their creativity.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That I'm just a ghost writer. I'm in the process of writing some big solo projects.

A: What is your end goal for the project? Describe your vision of the sound you want to achieve/create...

A: Feel free to ask any questions and just go for it, explore your vision and ideas!

A: My Macbook Pro with Ableton! HIFI Man Sundara Headphones, Nord Piano, Focals, UAD Apollo

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: 20 years working in the business. Started off in a house duo called 'The Electric Press' signed to 2020 Vision back in 2005. Collaborated with various producers along the way and became an established ghost writer and producer.

A: Modern Dance influenced by Funk and Soul

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Prince, he was a legendary machine!

A: Never think you know it all, keep learning. Sometimes take a step back and the answers come.

A: I work inside the box (DAW) using Ableton Live & Logic along with a UAD APOLLO interface, FOCAL Twin studio monitors and a chain of third party plugins.
