Jae is an incredible singer and was so awesome to work with!
Jae delivered what I was looking for, she is a very professionnal singer I highly recommend !
Jae provided vocals for my recent track and showcased great professionalism and talent. Her voice added depth and dynamism to the song, aligning perfectly with the vision I had in mind. A collaboration that I'd certainly recommend.
First time working with Jae for some gospel-choir-style backing vocals. She is very responsive, ultra professional, and most importantly the finished product that she delivered is gold.
Jae has a voice you really want to listen to and is a pro, skilled singer.
She also wrote some great lyrics and melodies. I recommend working with her ASAP!
Jae was super fast and easy to work with! Definitely a pleasure
Super sassy vocal and professional! Works ✅ fast, great tracking quality. Communicated clear. Highly recommend Jae.
Awesome experience! If you need Soul / RnB vocals, look no further! Jae captured the soul of my song right away and delivered it through her soulful voice. She`s an amazing singer and artist! She also provided ad libs that feel just right. She truly is a gem. Highly recommended!
I'm always a little reluctant to try a new singer on SB. I've had 95% success over the years finding great artists to suit my needs.. Do I give the singer everything he or she needs to record their vocal...yes. Do I give clear instructions and communicate effectively...yes, but there's always that nagging bit of doubt if things will work out. I hired Jae to sing vocals on my latest track "JesusClaus". Well Jae CRUSHED it! ZERO revisions! I have no doubt Jae can do the same for you!...Thanks Jae!
Jae has a great voice, picked up my melody quickly and on point, did beautiful soulful ab-libs beyond what i requested. A true professional, would recommend her to anyone, and hope to send her more work down the road

Jae is a fantastic singer and very easy to deal with. She was clear and concise with the project direction and the material she supplied was organized and very easy to work with. Hope I get to work with her more in the future!!
Jae is great. Prompt, flavorful. Gave 4 stars because we've never had a verbal conversation about the song, so didn't get convey as a human, what I needed in the song. This company controls who talks to who. Im not a robot and nor is vocal talent. Would use SB more if they weren't so controlling. I pay...they don't. She deserved 5 stars
Jae is a true professional and highly talented artist. If you've found her here on Soundbetter then don't go any further!
It was a pleasure working with Jae, the quality of her vocals and professionalism surpassed my expectations. I hope to work with her again in the future!
It was honestly such a pleasure to work with Jae. Her professionalism, responsiveness and enthusiasm made my project a joy to work on. And I haven't even mentioned her amazing voice!!!
I definitely want to work with her in the future, she's a treasure!
Jae is always professional and always goes above and beyond. One of the most beautiful voices that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend Jae for any project 💪🏾💪🏾
Jae was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her amazing talent, combined with her professionalism and easy-going nature, made her an invaluable asset to my project. I wholeheartedly recommend Jae and look forward to the prospect of future collaborations. If you are looking for a vocalist who brings a blend of talent, professionalism, and excellent work ethic, Jae is the perfect choice.
Super fast and accurate! I loved working with Jae. Amazing vocals!
Jae was awesome to work with! absolutely nailed her vocals! Hope to work together again soon!
Love what Jae came up with for our disco house track. She was great at working through changes and ideas before we settled on the final take to get down.
Great soul voice as well!
Interview with Jae Franklin
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am especially proud of the work I did on my last project. This was a big undertaking for me. I challenged myself to write and release 1 single per month for 2019. I was successful in releasing 1 song per month, even with challenges that were beyond my control. I was the executive producer, songwriter, vocal arranger, music producer for some of the songs, marketing associate, publicist, and more. I had to wear multiple hats and seamlessly make this project some together. I am most proud of that.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on a vocal loop package through my company Voroso Entertainment. I'm so excited about this project! I am also working on a collaboration project with my longtime collaborator and music producer Ben Bada Boom.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know anyone on SoundBetter that I could recommend to my clients, but I look forward to getting to know more creatives professionals.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to my clients that I will deliver a product that meets and usually exceeds their expectations. I promise to have an open mind and receive their creative direction. I promise to bring my A-game to their project and produce their result within their specified timeline and sometimes sooner.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the fact that I can create memories and moments that people will listen to and remember and attach with special moments in their lives. I love that I can create something from literally nothing and have it hit people in different ways. I like that I learn new perspectives from creative people all around the world. I also love that I can make a living doing what I was born to do. I like that I am living in my purpose because I was born to do this!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: + Can you demo this song for me? Yes, let's discuss the specifics of your song. What is your timeline? What is your budget? + Did you really write all your songs? Yes, I do write all of my songs. + Where do you record? I usually record at my home studio. + Do you sing genres other than R&B and Soul? Of course, I sing a variety of genres! I'm not stranger to Pop, Folk, Funk, House and more.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: + What is your budget? + What is your timeline? + What is your BPM? + Do you have a vocal reference? + Do you have an instrumental track? + What is the key of your song? + Do you have a general idea of the vocal performance for this song? + Are you available for a call to discuss? + Do you need any additional services?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I am a believer in ownership. I started my company Voroso Media with the intention to create and own my projects, music masters, and control creative direction and expression. I have been an independent artist releasing music projects for 10 years; however, I have been performing my entire life.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is soul through and through. I am connected to the sound of authentic 70s R&B, which is comprised of classic artists like Rose Royce, Deniece Williams, Patrice Rushen, Donny Hathaway. If you take the essence of Sade mixed with the soulfulness of Tweet along with the beauty of Whitney Houston's tone and the musicality of 70s-era Rose Royce, you would get me - Jae Franklin.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Tweet. She is one of the most versatile recording artists in the music industry and seems like a very down-to-earth person based on her reputation. She is a great storyteller and her vocal delivery is always so effortless. Her voice is inimitable. She has a grace about her which shines through in her records.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One music production tip is to have a great audio interface when recording vocals. I have learned this over time because I have had to engineer my recording sessions. I still engineer my own recording sessions in my home studio.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on R&B and Soul music, but I'm no stranger to Pop, Folk, Funk, House and more.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my innate ability to SING! I also have an innate ability to hear harmony, hear song keys, match the song's mood, and immediately lock in with the flow and rhythm of any song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always bring creativity and an open mind. I'll compliment your song with increased emotion and intensify the impact of your song. I bring the true essence of angelic soprano female vocals. I also bring my knowledge of songwriting, vocal arrangement, and music theory. I have a keen ear for harmony. I can have the innate ability to hear song keys and lock in with the flow and rhythm of any song immediately.

A: My typical work process is centered around: + vocal recording + songwriting I start with the melody then move to lyrics and record them immediately. I add background vocals. I finish the song with vocal arrangements. I edit the song as many times as needed and make final adjustments. I send the song to be mixed and mastered.

A: If I were on a desert island, I would take these 5 items: + MacBook Pro + Universal Audio Apollo Twin MK II + Rode NT2-A + Buffalo hard drive + SE Electronics REflection filter Pro
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital is best for me because most of my work is done remotely and I travel so much. I love the sound that analog provides, but digital is my preferred method of getting work done right now.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that it doesn't involve wearing multiple hats to get work done. Singing is just a portion of everything I do for Voroso Media.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
