Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: In my studio I work with Mac, protools, univesal audio, Adam, Focusrite, krk, Beyerdymanic. Mics: Rode NTK, NT5`s, Shure sm 57´s, sm 58´s, beta 52, AKG D112, and many more ... My main instruments are: Ludwig superclassic 1969 kit, Yamah RTC 1989 made in japan, Ludwig Supraphonic 1969, Ludwig acrolite 1978, Yamaha custom snare 1986, Caf New sonic 1969 (snare and bass drum), Gretsch catalina club Jazz. Cymbals Istanbul, Zildjian, Meinl, Sabian, Bosphorus, of many sizes and colors. Other instruments: Roland spdsx, 70´s Pulser drum synthesizer made in Japan, Nord keyboards, Fender jazz bass american deluxe, pressision bass, taylor guitars, Micro Korg xl, and many more.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I have really worked and worked on many projects that make me proud, some are: within this page with JazzyD, a great producer with whom I have recorded drums for various artists. I work as a drummer for Benjamin Amadeo, I work as a producer on Music Brokers, I work as a drummer for Weeper, Agustina Paz, I worked as a drummer for Julia Zenko, and worked on television shows as a live musician or producing songs for the show and for the live show, and so many other things, really many jobs make me proud.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on a single production for a recording artist and recording drums for artists and producers around the world

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: I think that both are valid, for me the important thing is to achieve the best final result, beyond the elements you use

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: The promise is to obtain the expected result.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Absolutely everything without a doubt.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: If I can do the job. The answer is yes!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest mistake is running into musicians who care only about their performances and don't listen to the song and play for it.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What emotion do you want to transmit, if you imagine a sound reference and what bpm is the song ;)

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I would advise you to work together, you will not regret it ;)

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Drum set, acoustic guitar, macbook, uad apollo, headphones

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: From a very young age I was surrounded by music and instruments in my house, from the age of 11 I started to play drums in different bands and I never did anything other than being dedicated full time to music. Study formally in various public and private institutions and with the best teachers in private classes.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Song style, that would be a good name.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: With many, it is very difficult to answer, with Paul McCartney, to say only 1

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always work for the song, capture the main emotion and focus towards that side. The song rules.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: As a session drummer I mostly work in an "acoustic" style of music, for singer-songwriters and producers. In my studio I receive a lot of varied music to work from rock or pop songs to funk, soul, jazz and fusion. I also record a lot of percussion, flamenco cajon and Argentine bass drum leguero. The same as a producer, I do work for independent artists, record labels and commercial music for radio, tv and websites.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Clearly my strongest skill is to record drums, I love songs and music, it is what I did almost all my life, recording, producing, mixing, those are my best skills.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I have been playing music in the drums for more than 25 years, since that time I was lucky to participate in many projects and works with various artists in studio and I live, so I give the song all my experience accompanied by pro and super equipment versatile to get the best result.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: To record drums, I listen to the reference that the client sends and I configure the drums to achieve the sound indicated for each song, then I configure the microphones and the audio of the virtual and analog pre-uad, once this is solved, I look for the way to play the drums based on the song and I record it, I build a stereo bounce and send it to the client, if necessary I make revisions until I get the best result.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I am inspired by Steve Jordan, Jon Brion, Tchad Blake, Brian Blade, The Beatles, Jim Keltner and many more ...

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: In my recording studio I mainly do drum and percussion recording, with super versatile pro equipment. I also work in music productions, whether for artists or TV, radio or web content.
