Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I am currently working with Sony Music Entertainment as a music producer. Besides being a producer and DJ, I was the chief instructor at an Ableton Certified Training Center for 5 years. During that period, I realized the concept of "learning while teaching". Thanks to hundreds of my students, I discovered how to create music from hundreds of different styles and points of view. In addition to my work as an instructor, I have also created jingles for brands such as Red Bull, performed at various festivals like Sonar, and taught at multiple university campuses. I am very familiar with the journey of music in the industry and the evolution of all kind of electronic music.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mostly provide a compact service which includes all phases of music production. Ready to release, an industry standard mixed & mastered song. It means that the project covers sound design, production, mixing and mastering phases. In this way, my customers don't have to deal with all these stages separately. Additionally, if a customer wants an original vocal in his/her song, I guide him/her for free on choosing the right vocalist and implementing the idea into the song.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I analyze the reference track of the customer as a starting point. Then I synthesize his/her favorite style by adding his own story on it. Then I ask my customer to describe his/her vision by the help of a video, a picture or certain keywords which define the feeling. if he/she wants a faster solution it's always commercially good to get direct inspirations from a successful song and make some unique additions later. Because there are styles that the listener gets used to consume and sees safe.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Whether you want to create a replica or something original, in any case you must have a story. And what techniques and patterns you use to tell this story depends on your synthesis.
