David Z Rivkin is an American music producer, engineer, mixer, and writer from Minneapolis, Minnesota who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is most well known for his long-standing work with Prince, but has also contributed to award winning albums by Etta James,, Buddy Guy Collective Soul and Fine Young Cannibals.
For the last 6+ years I have been working in New York City as a professional sound engineer. My humble beginnings started working as a live sound engineer called Club Love in the lower west side of Manhattan. Up until recently I had been working the last 4+ years as a professional post production audio mixer/sound designer/musician in midtown NY.
