Guitar solos that tell a story

A great guitar solo is a story in itself, that conveys and amplifies the meaning of your song without using words.

Hi! I'm Carsten and I play guitar since 1995. I've recorded and toured with various bands, ranging from pop to rock to metal, and have a passion for coming up with beautiful, melodic and meaningful guitar solos.

Some of my influences are John Mayer, Joe Satriani and Mark Knopfler.

Through SoundBetter I want to work with artists that need a great guitar solo that conveys the meaning of their song without using words. I'd rather not "shred" (although I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve) or play rhythm guitar, I just want to tell a story with my guitar in a couple of bars on your track.

I'm open to all kinds of genres. Listen to the demo track for some of my previous work, which ranges between rock, soul, R&B, pop and metal.

This is what I need to get started;

- The full track, without a solo
- The time range in minutes seconds (start and stop) where you want the solo
- The meaning of the lyrics, as this can influence what I play
- If possible, some reference tracks (can be links)

When you work with me, you'll get:

- A proposal of the cost (depends on length and style of solo)
- 2 variations of a great solo
- 2 revision rounds
- The final guitar track with amp + cab sound
- The dry DI track, so you can re-amp it yourself.
