Hey My Name is Matt Dyer, I am the owner and operator of Eyeopener Records. I have been playing Guitar and Bass in bands since i was 16 years old and have a Diploma from Fanshawe College in Music Industry Arts. Recording, Mixing and Mastering are my main passions but I also have a background in Producing and Live Sound.
Hi, music has been my passion from my youth days. I see music as storytelling. My job as a mixer is to make your story shine. I ve started in 1993 in Jacobs studios UK. After working there as trainee assistant with many big name sessions and producers, I gradually shifted my work to freelancing in UK and latter throughout Europe and Scandinavia.
I create music that is not just heard, but experienced. I have been playing guitar for 24 years, singing for 10 years, and writing music for over a decade. I love creating music that comes from a real place of human experience, so if you're looking to make something authentic and unique I'd love to help you on your way.
Bass is the second most important aspect of any song, it is the glue which blends, holds and supports the rest of the record, I am ultra passionate about bass, and would be honoured to work on your future projects!
