Vocal comping in Milwaukee

I have been specializing in vocals for many years and worked on lots of cool records. The most recent artists include Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa and I did vocal production for the entire Mean Girls movie-musical just released in Jan 2024. I have worked on vocals that are super pop to totally indy and vibey, from Cat Stevens to Demi Lovato.

My mixing philosophy is to be invisible. My priority is to help the artist achieve their vision, ignoring the need to put a personal stamp on the mix or attempt to make it my own. To that end, I am flexible in the methods I employ and will always defer to the tastes of the artist by understanding what's important to them in a mix.

Mike recently recorded vibraphone and percussion as a guest artist with The Grovelers, Lost Tribes of the Moon, Conundrum, Damien Cockenpot, Teus Araujo, Ukulele Jack and more. His new album named “Starting to Dream” is on the horizon.

Certified Audio Engineer through the Recording Connection Audio Institute. I have worked on projects in and out of the studio. I have recorded at a local studio for a good amount of time now. Usually work with local artists and musicians, but I am always open to collaborate with people through the internet.
