Nick is currently touring with 80's pop act 'The Human League' and for the Australian singer/songwriter 'Vancouver Sleeping Clinic'. Nick has spent years honing his studio sound, developing his own sonic landscape which has been heavily influenced by artists such as Tame Impala, Bonobo, Mutemath, and The 1975.
I'm a music producer and mix/master engineer. Amongst my specialties I'd highlight vocals (editing, pitch correction, EQ, compression,...) and drums programming. I also like to help the artist with the creative direction of their music or suggestions about the segments of the song or effects that might help accentuate and deliver the message.
I felt very seen when Andrew Marlin, mandolinist from Watchouse, said, fingers and voice trembling as he held his mandolin: "the world is more than bluegrass." I used to practice playing faster and faster ... and I felt completely empty. So I am exactly the wrong guy if you are seeking lightning fast licks, etc. My approach is different.
