Hello! My name is Alex and I'm a mixing engineer. Had experience assisting an engineer who works with Zakk Cervini (Reference sound!) My key musical directions are modern metal and pop punk (Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low, Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Omens, ONE OK ROCK, Waterpaks, Spiritbox) I will be happy to work on your songs!
So I'm a mix engineer that has no specific genre, if it's music I'll love it! I've been working alot with some Neo Soul and Pop artists recently, making their tracks come alive with my punchy mixing and my ear for perfection.
I think mixing and mastering should be approached in the same way as playing an instrument or singing a song. If you sing a song and you don’t feel the song or connect with the song you are singing, the performance is not going to be as strong, The audience has the ability to detect that lack of energy and engagement.
I work full time as a drummer and engineer. I've played in just about every recording situation and been in every type of studio. Large commercial studio or basement home studio. I've worked for some notable people, Bootsy Collins, Jimmy Haslip, and Jeff Lorber to name a few.
As musicians ourselves, we know how you feel having to leave your project in someone elses hands. You pray that it turns out for the better, but that doesn't change that feeling of giving someone your art. We promise to give you our undivided attention and bring your project to life.
