Hi There, My name is Uberkoolsound (UKS for short) and I have working in the music industry for over 20 years, starting out as a DJ then moving into other fields such as event management and music production. I have now developed my skills in the realm of mixing and mastering and would be love to help bring your vision to reality.
Mr.Downs is an award-winning producer from Cincinnati, Ohio who boasts nearly twenty years of experience in producing records for up and coming stars. Working in genres like R&B, hip-hop, and pop; he has produced over three hundred records and even performed for major acts and labels such as Roc Nation, Sony, and Def Jam Recordings.
In the presence of his instruments, filmmaker Josh Kaster transforms into Kastr — a multi-genre music producer with a worldly perspective. Rooted forever in his love for and dedication to jazz, Kastr’s studio is nothing short of a melting pot – producing everything from folk pop, to electronica and EDM, to hip-hop, to lo-fi bedroom pop.
After touring for the past 10 years, most recently with singer Maggie Rogers, I've spent my recent time off the road pumping out drum and percussion tracks from my studio in Los Angeles, CA. My mission statement from the studio is to ALWAYS prepare good tones from the source, and to ALWAYS play to the song, never the ego.
With an ear for modern pop, rock and country, I've worked with artists such as 2LATE, Dev Soter, Mark Taylor, and Valories. I've performed for over a decade as a touring musician with Mark Taylor and The Hollow Party, and I've made music for just as long. If there's a vision for the song, I want to see it through to the artist's liking.
