Greetings! I'm Multi-Platinum Producer/Songwriter Ty Macklin (Erykah Badu, India.Arie). I make music for many artist from major to indie, big budget to small budget. I also co-own a 5k foot studio in Dallas Fort Worth called Alpha Omega Recording Studios where I am chief engineer and mix engineer.

in The Lab We believe mastering is an art form, and should be approached as such. Since mastering is about the presentation, it is subjective, yet still requires an objective perspective of the music. There are as many opinions about how mastering is needed and used as there are engineers. Music is art. And art is not a competition.
As a Pro Audio Engineer, I’m able to deal with everything related to “audio” and “sound” in general, for example recording, miking, editing, mixing, mastering, summing (analog, digital, hybrid), dubbing, post-production, assisting, live service. I always try to give the best, under any conditions, with the maximum availability possible.
From 27 years of touring and recording with Elton John, I have extensive studio and songwriting experience. I have also performed with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Sam Mendez and Lady Gaga, Khalid, Billy Joel. I have written music for Jose Feliciano, plus soundtracks, cues and songs used in many TV shows and movies.
