I have an original sound/approach. One thing I noticed about hit music, originality is key.
I define mixing as the art and science of effectively defining and communicating the sonic of a song to the listener. A great sounding track must communicate certain emotions and feeling to the soul of the listener. My job as a mix/master engineer is to validate and enhance this quality of a great song so that it stand the test of time.
