I have been writing, mixing, recording, and mastering my own work since 2010. I have never been professionally trained, but have released my own projects under the name LION. I self-released an EP in 2011, and am releasing an EP in October for the Kansas City label Dionysian Tapes followed by an LP released on Dusty Records in San Francisco.
My music career started with classical piano training finishing at Berklee College of Music voice training with Paula Cole among others, songwriting and production. I have had the privilege to perform for/with grammy awarded musicians Jacob Collier at MIT 2016 and AR Rahman at BSO 2014.
I'm an experienced, full time audio engineer for a Grammy-winning label. As a producer, I am passionate about drawing out your unique sound and creating music that you are truly proud of. I’m also an independent artist, so I can relate to your journey as an artist and speak your language while I produce your song.
