Hi! I am a freelance music producer, mix engineer, sound designer and artist based in Dublin, Ireland who releases music under the name Uwmami. I specialise in experimental vocal mixing and production/ mix techniques and enjoy blurring traditional genre lines. I have recently collaborated with rising Irish artists Selu, Sushee, Nuxsense &Awesimon.
I have been writing and performing music for over 20 years and have a wide variety of experiences that I can bring to the table. I have a taste for older film scores but I tend to lean towards a more experimental side of music. If you're looking for more adventurous soundtrack, I'd be happy to work you.
I have recorded on 200+ albums of all genres from hip-hop to pop, from folk/roots to straight ahead jazz. What I can give you is the real sound of these instruments respectful of your genre.
I begin all studio mixing projects by carefully analyzing tracks in my home studio. A lot of the initial work can be done "in the box". This reduces overall costs, and greater prepares sessions for a final mix. Based on client wishes and budget, I will collaborate with world renowned studios to perform the final mixdown on SSL, Neve, API consoles.
