Hi. I've been playing guitar for 35 years & love collaborating with people. David Ryder Prangley once told me I have "the left hand of Johnny Marr and the right hand of Eddie Van Halen". As a writer, words are also very important to me. Whether writing lyrics from scratch or editing existing lines, I'll keep at it until the song is right.
I take influences and find a way to put my own creative spin on it. Make it feel fresh, new. Unique processing methods on sounds. My childlike attitude with creating leads to a lot of happy accidents. In terms of song writing I lean toward raw words, emotion and intuition.
Mixing and adding production to songs using high-end analog compressors and tube EQ. I have an extensive list of plugins and also real instruments such as wurlitzer, Rhodes, Moog, Oberheim and Roland keyboards as well as a 50's Everett piano to help fill in arrangements.
I'm a music producer aiming to emphasize the message in attractive ways. I've worked as a producer and mixer for folk band and composed original score for short films. In my spare time I develop new sounds for my band as a keyboardist. I enjoy to give that extra details to polish and finish the existing project.
