Rafael Pondé, an accomplished Philadelphia-based musician, originally from Salvador, in The State of Bahia, Brazil, promotes cultural understanding and combats racism through music. Early recognition began in 1999, when he participated in the Bahian Music Festival by University of Vitória da Conquista.

A recent graduate with a degree in music technology with 5 years of work experience in music production, sound design, mixing, and mastering.

My experience ranges from touring in a punk band to co-writing songs with pop artists to mixing country albums.

I am an award winning guitarist, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist with a Bachelor's degree in Guitar from Berklee College of Music and a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from University of the Arts (Philly). I am fluent in all styles of music, and I am able to adapt to whatever is needed from me as a player or composer.
