My name is Javier Figueira and I'm a drummer, teacher and sound engineer. I do drums, recording, mix and mastering.

I am a classically trained composer working in film, theatre and experimental music. Also I play trumpet and I sing in various styles. My strong points are flexibility in genre and style, strong academic education and modern approach to creating music. Currently my focus in music is Armenian traditional duduk repertoire which I play on trumpet.

15 years working with musicians, performing and engineering. I engineer recordings in studios or at my home, mix recordings and record overdubs at my home, and connect singer/songwriters with professional musicians. I can get impressive mixes out of clients' home recordings in a majority of cases.

Professional mastering, remote tracking (bass, guitar, keys, drums, voice) & scoring for media. Clients include Weezer, Nada Surf, Spain, Ozma, Irma, We Are Me, Netflix, Paramount, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Universal, Sony, Diabolyk, Butterscotch Stanley, David Prince, Jose Galvez, etc.

I specialize in the dark side. Whether it is introspective, powerfully emotive or pure angst, I'm your guy!
