I'm Daniel Mehrmann, a recording studio owner, mixer, editor, and producer. I've also been the Music Tech coordinator at Southwestern Illinois College for 14 years now. I typically record bands around the St. Louis, MO area. Recording in the mid-west, however, is easy on the budget so I wanted to open up an online mixing option for my studio.

Niche Mixing has over 20 years of experience in writing, recording, producing, and playing music of all styles. Our understanding of all aspects of music comes from formal education, natural talent, and practical experience.

I produce high-quality music with commercial appeal. My specialization is pop, hip-hop, and reggaeton (including various other latin music subgenres).

I am audio engineer with a passion for all genres of music. I am also a singer/ songwriter/ producer that loves the challenges each song can bring. Ive had the pleasure of working on many style of projects from country to Techn9ne. I believe clarity is key to impact sonically and beyond that the rules are strictly limited to the imagination.

Proficient in all styles except for rap, extra specialization in hard rock and metal (all forms of metal.) I produced the very first Carnifex record and continue to work recording, mixing, mastering, and producing all genres (except rap.) My goal is a happy client every time, period. I won't rest until mission accomplished.
