Alex Rocha is a session upright and electric bass player based in Rio de Janeiro. He got a Latin Grammy Award for his contribution on singer Emílio Santiago's live CD "Só Danço Samba ao vivo" , winner on 2012. Alex can play in many styles like Bossa Nova, Latin, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Samba, R'n'B, Rock, Funk, and many more.
I'm a music producer, DJ, record label owner (Prodigality Records), fashion designer (Sydney de Janeiro). I can produce instrumentals, very experienced with finding/editing/cleaning samples, and lyric songwriting.
I have accumulated experience over the last 7 years working alongside new generation artists, such as JOCA, dada Joãozinho, Lessa Gustavo and Mundo Video.
