Versatile and creative drummer recording top sounding drums for your tracks. Recorded with some of the most proeminent artists from Brasil in genres that extend from pop, rock and hip-hop to jazz and afrobeat.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, I'm recording from my own studio with top sounding drums and equipment, creating fat and juicy sounds for your tracks. I've been recording drums (remotely and live) for the past years here in the studio, so I'm able to use different recording techniques to come up with the better drum sound for each track. My goal is to always create the best grooves with amazing sounds for your song.
With more than 15 year of experience, I'm currently working with brazilian artists such as Rubel, Ana Frango Elétrico and afrobeat ensemble Abayomy Afrobeat Orchestra. In the past I have collaborated with important names such as Baco Exu do Blues, Emicida, Luedji Luna, Liniker, Erasmo Carlos, Vanessa da Mata, Cátia de França and Orlando Julius (Nigeria).
In my studio I have vintage drums such as Ludwig and Pinguim (Ludwig replica), 1950s Sonor wood snare,1979 Ludwig Supraphonic and 1970s Pinguim maple snare as well as a huge array of Zildjian, Istambul, and Paiste cymbals. My studio gear is also aligned with a more vintage sound with equipment such as neumann 87s and TLA 5001 pre amps, among others.
I also have experience in recording percussion (specially congas, bongos, small hand percussion) and editing drums/percussion

A: Being versatile. Meaning I can play a big array of styles, always working for the song. Maintaing simplicity or playing more when needed.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work mainly recording drums for producers working for singer-songwriters, library music and soundtracks. I also record percussion (mainly congas), edit drums/percussion and produce songs.
