Hello! I play viola in studio sessions ranging from classical to pop genres, live and remote. I love arranging strings as much as I love playing viola. While viola is my main jam, I do also play violin and happy to record with both!
Sound engineers are artists too! My approach is free-form and instinctive, I see the sound engineer as a musician and the mix as a performance. Think of how a pianist plays a piano, or a drummer hits a drum kit; I use knobs, switches and buttons.
