Emilio is an affordable, high-level, versatile session saxophonist and horn arranger with solo and horn line recording experience in Hip-hop, Pop, Jazz, Indie-Rock, Americana and Latin genres. Sonido del Sol works primarily with local Phoenix artists to help them bring their songs more energy and life.

Am working in industy fifteen years now, seen a lot of people come and go. Still based out of Los Angeles, the home of the Dodgers and Lakers, oh yea and Clippers. Have spent countless hours in the room with more artists, producers, and songwriters than you can shake a stick at. When I'm not out in the studio, can find me at my mastering studio.

My songs have been featured on shows like One Tree Hill, and The Dead Zone, I've opened for Fleetwood Mac, shared the stage with Toby Keith and Bobby Brown, and music has been my full time job since I started breathing (*ish).

*I'm currently in Alaska w/ minimal equipment. I can still write & send out top-lines.* If you ever get a chance to have a conversation with John Mayer, I would take it. You can just tell John's weird by how he says what he says. And so am I. Guitar is my main mode of speaking, then comes singing. I write songs, produce, and arrange.

An absolute love for music I would consider my main qualification. I've been in recording studios and clubs as a musician for nearly thirty years, I've worked as a music producer, recording and mixing engineer, composer and musician for the last fifteen. My music and recording formal education includes an M.A. B.A. and A.A.
