Ben Shirken aka Beshken is an artist, producer, and mixer living in Brooklyn, New York. He has produced and mixed for an eclectic range of electronic, indie/jazz, and r&b artists such as The Dare, Spencer., Gus Dapperton, Mizu & Deli Girls. He attended NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music where he received a BFA in Recorded Music.

I am a drummer, electronic musician/engineer, a composer for film, & a multi-instrumentalist producer. My studio, 5950.exp has become a staple in the Brooklyn experimental music scene for music production and recording. I have toured the world with major acts and am an in-demand drummer for pop, experimental, electronic, and improvised music.

I've worked with indie electronic producer, Beshken, as well as songwriting for international brands. I have 10+ years of singing experience with 3 years of producing and sound engineering vocals under my belt.
