Hey! My name's Mike. I've been a bass player for 15 years and have played with multiple bands in a variety of styles. From funk and pop to post-rock and prog, I can provide you with a timely and well-written product no matter what the project! I also play guitar and create beats in my home studio.
I have been a recording and gigging bassist for over 25 years, producing great bass lines in a variety of genres. Bringing the right attitude, and creating the right bass line, feel and tone for each musical environment is my passion. I will work with you on developing the bass line until you say “That’s just what I was looking for!”.
I play a collection of unique instruments. My drums are 1963 Rogers Holiday. My guitar collection includes acoustics, electrics, 12 strings, and pawnshop oddballs from who knows where. My bass is from Transylvania (seriously). My piano is a 1909 Steinway Model K. My focus lately is my custom built electric zither from Polyphonic Workshop.
