I play a collection of unique instruments. My drums are 1963 Rogers Holiday. My guitar collection includes acoustics, electrics, 12 strings, and pawnshop oddballs from who knows where. My bass is from Transylvania (seriously). My piano is a 1909 Steinway Model K. My focus lately is my custom built electric zither from Polyphonic Workshop.
If you're looking for something unique or even indescribable, I may be able to assist. My goal is to participate in the most awesome Music there is at any given moment whether it is simple, complex, soothing, epic, nasty, terrifying et cetera.

Endorse Zebulun X BarnowI've used this man for every drum project since I met him in 2015. Professional, diligent and a gem to work with.
I hired Zebulun to sing on music that I created for Timon Of Athens at Chicago Shakespeare. We were trying to fuse together Blues music, Tom Waits and ballet into a hybrid to accompany Shakespeare's language. Zebulun absolutely brought the magic and character needed to make the idea work, his vocals were both haunting and mesmerizing. The show was a success, I received a Jeff Award (Chicago's version of the Tony Award) for composition on the project. I still have people say that this music was their favorite, years later. Zebulun is a truly special performer, and I'm grateful for his talent.
I've worked with Zebulun for a few years. Besides providing drum and percussion tracks, he offered some useful feedback on the lyrics, phrasing, and arrangements. It's always great to work with not just a jobber, but a fellow artist who can contribute to the songs. The quality of the tracks was studio-ready, and when I mentioned to Zebulun that I was going for the authentic 60s sound on my rockabilly songs, he built a kit based on his 60s Rogers drums specially for this. Zebulun is a versatile, professional and experienced drummer, flexible and timely, responsive and experimenting.
