I am an award-winning lyricist and composer. In 2019, I was the Grand Prize Winner of The John Lennon International Songwriting Competition in the jazz category. I have a PhD in Literature and Philosophy from Duke University. I love music. I love people. I love life.
My Name is Jameson Flood. I'm a producer, engineer, guitarist, songwriter and mixer. I'm also one half of the band Alke. I have been producing music on a professional level for over 10 years. I work out of JTL Group (Recording) in south Kansas City. I've been songwriting (melody/lyric) for artists on paid projects for the last three years. I've written mostly pop for others. My personal style is more eclectic. As a vocalist I can do many different characters- bluesy and colorful (Billie Holliday), to clean pop tones (Katy Perry).
