Recording studio, managed by Ukrainian producer/songwriter Dimitry Pavlovskiy
Hi, My name is Dmytro, I'm a music producer, recording/mixing engineer from Uzhhorod, western Ukraine. My work covers many different genres, from pop to heavy metal music. I'm engaged in sound production for more than 10 years and I worked on many different projects, with lots of different people; I won the HOFA mixing contest in 2021; the albums produced by me licensed and released on various European record labels (including Sony/Warner and Beleive Digital). Also, I studied at the music college on guitar and drums - so I know how to play musical instruments and have a clue about music theory :)
My job is recording, editing, mixing, mastering/composing music, playing guitar/keyboards/bass/drums, and sometimes singing.
My experience is mixing 70 % of albums with my bands, producing club/pop music, rap beats, recording voice-overs for TV ads, jingles for radio-stations, voiceovers for Ukrainian YouTube Channels, etc.
Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.
Interview with Beast Sound Studios
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly I take songs that have already been composed, arranged and recorded, and making the best sounding mix possible. I'm also involved in composing and arranging not only for my personal projects or bands but also for clients - but it depends on my schedule load and genre.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: 2018. Album called "Inspire" by Korzo! That was a great time spent in the studio with amazing musicians! We did everything live, it was performed very well and clear! Great memories!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Definitely check out this dude! https://soundbetter.com/profiles/10995-white-sea-studio
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't try to work on different studio monitors at the same time because it can drive you crazy! Always give your ears rest for some time!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Metal, Pop-Rock, String Quartets. Also, Voiceovers and Radio Jungles!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Mostly I like to do a bombastic and big sound, but of course, it depends on the atmosphere or the composition!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm always trying to use analog + digital gear to produce or mix music. But my studio setup is constantly evolving as I test and implement new gear to achieve the best sound that I can.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Michael Romeo, Bob Rock, Chris Lord-Alge, Wytse (White Sea Studio), Richard Andersson, Dennis Ward
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Finishing new Majesty Of Revival album, along with the production of the next 60-minutes songalbum from #Monumental
