Since opening our doors in 1974, Phase One has been privileged to be an integral part of the Canadian Music scene. Taught myself guitar & started writing lyrics & songs at 14, as a fan of singer/songwriter styles of the 60's & 70's, (obliviously influenced by my dad's 70's mix tapes, playing' in the car). I'm also a fan of melodic, powerpop music! I have an appetite for writing catchy melodies with simple, but thoughtfully constructed lyrics.
