Hey! I'm Nick James. Singer/songwriter for at least 20 years of my life and I'm here to take your vocal tracks to another level. I am the former lead singer/songwriter of the band Throwing Gravity. My specialty, and what I just enjoy a lot, is playing swing grooves; grooves with swag. As well as improvising, dynamics, and not being afraid to experiment and take risks. Sometimes that creates magic, and sometimes it doesn’t. 🤷 I’m also a producer and love producing electronic music.
As a full-time recording engineer at the Grand Canyon University Studio, I also offer freelance services in mixing, mastering, editing, guitar and bass tracking, and adding additional production elements to bring your artistic vision to life. I specialize in CCM and indie pop/rock, but enjoy working with any passionate creative.
