I began my musical journey in 1964 when at seventeen my parents bought me my first guitar, at first learning folk songs and then the galvanizing invasion of The Beatles and my path was forever changed. Since my first audio job in 1966, I’ve recorded/mixed with countless producers, directors, actors, composers, arrangers, vocalists, and musicians. I have a special affinity for music in particular and for the performing arts in general.

I am a singer, songwriter, composer and guitar player. I specialize in writing lyrics, alto to soprano vocal range, composer and arrangement of instrumentation, background vocals and harmony. I also play, write and record guitar for tracks. I wrote, arranged, performed vocal and guitar on all songs released from my band Aviana And The Pure Root.
