Berklee College of Music graduate (summa cum laude) arranger, producer, mixing engineer, singer and instrumentalist. Contemporary styles that I mastered as an arranger, producer and a mixing engineer: Synthwave, Electro-Pop, Disco, Nu-Disco, Jazz, Rock, Pop-Rock. Alongside contemporary styles, I'm skilled in Balkan, Mid-Eastern cultural music.
I was primarily an arranger and performer during my years at Berklee College of Music, even though my major was Contemporary Writing and Production. But I've never loved my mixes when the genre was primarily electronic music, I didn't like most of my friends' mixes as well, but I was one of the few who was seeking a quality that would match the world class productions.
Even when I was working with award winning mixing engineers, I was not satisfied with the level of clarity and depth in the results, that was because the tracks I was providing them was not ready for a world class mixing quality. Hard work and dedication brought me to a place that I can make productions that would sound great anywhere, and convenient, pristine quality mixes.
Coming from a place that I understand frustration of an arranger whose music, in terms of the arrangement, is great but just does not translate as amazingly to the sonic field. I can guarantee that I can provide you an alternative approach to your productions or mixes!

Mahir is a very goal oriented and friendly person with great respect.
A delicious voice filled with oriental spice in combination with 80's disco synth music that awakens nice memories of the youth.
Hope we cooperate more in the future and participate in Mahir's music production. Highly recommended by DEXY mastering!
