Endorse Shaun PozywioYoo this guy is soo freaking talented! He has the ability to create an entire product on his own and his ear for melody and harmony is second to none. His vibe is so unique, along with his tone, falsetto, pen and production. If you need a hot record, include this guy!
SZY is one of the most impressive musicians I’ve ever worked with! He is a triple threat with extraordinary abilities in writing, singing and production, amongst so many other skill sets in between. He finishes tracks so quickly and efficiently and has the most incredible vocal tone! Will definitely be looking forward to continuing to work with SZY!

I endorse SZY at the risk of loosing his valued services to others, but he is that good. There will quickly come the time when he moves on to bigger production and high recognition in the business.
Szy is one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever met. He truly understands music composition and his lyrics and melodies are FIRE! He can do it all and he’s just getting started! Awesome to be around and always a fun day in studio with him. Szy is a true asset for any project!

Interview with Shaun Pozywio
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm a laid back guy, patient and helpful to those who need it. Musically...a lot of my harmony is inspired by these really lush, colorful chord voicings that you find in jazz, hip hop, and r&b. My drum choices really vary depending on the project I am working on, but if it was up to me, I would blend together modern hip-hop elements, vintage soul, and a few big arena pop snare sounds to widen the sound out.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Contemporary Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my 15 years of musical training, and my absolute obsession with perfection. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and I will go the extra mile to make sure the client, and myself are 1000 percent satisfied with the final product.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently I work alongside an amazing team of artists, producers, and songwriters at Studio 1 Zero located in Hollywood, California. We are always collaborating with new people, developing artists, and creating new music in a variety of genres for commercial release.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I won't give you a half-hearted product. If you hire me, you hire my name, and I don't want my name stamped on to work I am not proud of.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: 1. What services are you looking for exactly? 2. What are your short and long-term goals for the project? 3. Who are your biggest influences, and what elements do you love about them
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please be as clear and concise as possible. Love hearing work samples, and music terminology. Anything that you think can paint a vivid picture of your vision to easily communicate it to me is great.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. Hollow-body Electric Guitar 2. Macbook Pro 3. UAD Apollo 4. SM57 5. Nord Electro
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Primarily for work, I do songwriting and production. I bring a lot to these roles though. It isn't just lyric writing, laying down a chord progression, or "making beats." It's creating, and overseeing an entire musical vision. Laying a chord foundation, crafting melodies, playing multiple instruments, singing scratch vocals, programming drum patterns, arranging vocal harmonies, recording, coaching artists, engineering, editing, and mixing, are all part of that process.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love making music, and helping people make their music. Period.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Spend an extra 10 or 20 minutes picking your sounds. Don't settle for something that is just, "okay for now," spend the time looking for and manipulating sounds that are going to feel fresh to you, your client, and inevitably the audience.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to think quickly on my feet, and to shift my talents and capabilities around is my strongest asset. I have developed an expertise in a variety of musical fields, and it has given me a large palette to pull from when working with other people. It all just adds to my ability to empathize with people, and I tap into whatever I can in order to help clients express themselves in the best way possible.
