Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: The debut Star Vision full length album due for an early 2024 release.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital because all possibilities are at your fingertips thanks to plug-ins and accessibility.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: 100% satisfaction.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creativity, using my voice, being humbled that someone wants to use my voice and expression to help them achieve their vision, two parties unite and collaborate with a common goal to create something great, being part of and contributing to someone else's dream.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: IsoVox, Macbook Pro, Ableton (with my plug-ins!), Rode USB mic, and USB keyboard.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been a musician for over 20 years, starting out as a bass player before learning how to play guitar as a means to an end to write songs. I founded the alternative-rock band The Black String Theory in 2010 and released an EP and an album before creating production music for several years. In 2022, I founded a new project – an 80s-inspired AOR act called Star Vision. The debut EP was released in March 2023 and a full-album is currently in the works.

A: 80s-inspired rock/pop with an emphasis on melody and dynamics.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Any artist that has an appreciation for good songwriting and who has a vision.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep your set-up simple so as not to be distracted by plug-ins, effects and countless possibilities. Focus on the song and the feeling. There is a lot of creativity in being "restricted".

A: Rock/pop, hard rock

A: Passion and enthusiasm.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion, storytelling and a distinct raspy tone with dynamic.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Either the artist/band sends me the full song with a guide vocal or an instrumental version for me to write the top-line melody.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a modest but reliable home studio set-up. Using Ableton as my preferred DAW, I record vocals in an IsoVox vocal isolation booth so that the vocals are completely dry, clear, clean and unaffected by the room. I use Valhalla reverbs and a Rode NT-USB USB condenser microphone.

A: I am inspired by 80s and 90s artists, specifically Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Richard Marx, Kenny Loggins, Def Leppard, and Journey.

A: I record vocals for bands or artists needing a top-line vocal. I can also write lyrics and write the top-line melody.
