Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: One project I'm particularly proud of is producing a single for an emerging artist that received significant radio airplay and positive reviews. My role involved arranging his song, overseeing the entire production process from recording to mixing and mastering, and it was immensely satisfying to see the final product resonate with the public.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Currently, I am working on the production of an EP for a singer-songwriter, producing my own songs and as a guitarist with several bands with whom I eventually tour.

A: I love feeling like I can make the song grow by contributing something from my studio. Also I love the creative freedom and the opportunity to collaborate with talented musicians to bring their artistic visions to life.

A: Clients often ask about my rates, delivery time and the type of arrangements I can make. My answers vary depending on the specific project and your individual needs.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: One common misconception is that music production is solely about technical expertise, when in reality it's also about creativity, intuition, and artistic vision.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I typically ask about their musical references, the mood or emotion they want to convey in their music, and any specific preferences they have regarding instrumentation and production style.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Look for someone who not only has the technical skills but also understands your artistic vision and can bring it to life effectively.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My acoustic nylon guitar, a versatile microphone, a laptop with recording software, headphones, and a solar-powered generator.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: 've been involved in music production for over a couple of decades, starting as a hobbyist before turning it into a full-time career. I've honed my skills meeting many other musicians and learning from them through years of experience, both in professional studios and through independent projects.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style can be described as dynamic, expressive, and meticulously crafted, with a focus on capturing emotion and energy in every recording. Always looking for the perfect arrangement. :)

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with someone like Jacob Collier because his way of seeing music must be exciting. I think it would be a tremendous learning experience.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Some important to me is to listen to the song and make it your own so you can find the best arrangement or focus on getting the best possible performance from yourself while recording, as this lays the foundation for a great final product.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I am versatile and comfortable working on a wide range of musical genres, including rock, pop, world music, jazz, and electronic music.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is my ability to capture the essence of a song and enhance it through skilled instrumentation and production.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of musical arrangement and production techniques to every song I work on.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My typical work process involves first discussing the client's vision for the project, then recording and/or producing the necessary tracks, and finally refining them until it meets the client's expectations.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio setup includes high-quality microphones (neumann, AKG, Rode...) , a UA interface, some preamps, studio monitors Yamaha, and a variety of plugins and software instruments. I also have a collection of guitars, basses, and other instruments to suit different musical styles.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I am inspired by a wide range of musicians and producers, including legends like Hendrix, Paco de Lucía and Aretha Franklin, as well as contemporary artists like Sting, John Mayer and Jacob Collier.

A: My most common type of work involves providing recordings of guitar and bass, as well as handling music production tasks. This includes everything from recording individual tracks to mixing and mastering full songs.
