very professional. quick turn around. great communication. delivered.
Honestly couldn't have had a better engineer!!! Thanks soo much for making me sound exactly how I want to sound! Truly talented!
Incredibly thorough, suuuper easy and fun to work with. Mix was fantastic. Not all superheroes wear capes - some spend all day slaving over your mix in a dark studio.
Amazing person to work with! Such a talented producer.
Love working with Manny! He desires to see the end product be the best it can be while working with you closely to get the sound you want. He's professional and definitely a talent in the industry. Can't ask for a better engineer to work on our projects!
I really enjoyed working with immanuel manny park. He has awesome talent and professional about the work. no doubt!
Quick turnaround, great mixing engineer! Immanuel delivers quality work always.
I've had the pleasure of working with Manny on multiple projects, each of which has been incredibly fun and rewarding. Manny is not only a great producer and mixer but also very responsive, organized, and enjoyable to be around.
As someone who used to be involved in the world of live sound mixing but knows very little about recorded mixing and production, Manny is a godsend. He was happy to explain things to me and work with me to get the kind of sound I was looking for. Even without the best quality recordings, he works his magic and gets the sound clean and polished.
Immanuel deserves more credit for the work he does. His mixes are top notch, he has an incredible set of ears. If you have an opportunity to work with him or have him work for you, take it!
Manny’s mixes are undoubtedly great in every technical sense, however what really sets his apart from many other mixing engineers is his ability to add great personality to his tracks.
I would recommend Manny to any artist looking for an undeniably professional, easy to work with, and talented mixing and recording engineer.
Manny is the MAN. Such a pleasure to work with. His choices as a mix engineer are creative, skillful and precise. His greatest asset which every engineer should have is his ears.
Working with Manny, was not only easy smooth and fun, but it's always an EXPERIENCE. Very quick turn arounds, with 99% finish & precise yet creative, first revisions, with VERY satisfied client response! Book him if not, YOUR LOST!
I had 2 chances to work with himl, such a talent mixer, definitely would like to work with him again!
Working with Immanuel is always a great experience. His mixes are clear and consise, without being overly crushed or sweetened like most mixes today tend to be.
Every time I manage to book Immanuel as my mixing engineer, I feel at ease - This is a mixing engineer I can always trust.
I had the pleasure of working with Manny (Immanuel) and all I have to say is the work effort, the skill, the color, and the passion is all there. Manny is still very young , he has the potential to get a lot better at his craft and develop his artistry. It's only the beginning ..........................
Working with Immanuel was a great experience. He's got a great set of ears and he knows what kind of sound/mix exactly I'm looking for. He is also extremely easy to work with and he has a brilliant creative mind.
If you are fortunate enough to have Immanuel work with you, make it happen- He is a great guy.
Interview with Manny Park
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Do the research and invest! Seriously, don't underestimate the impact the mix engineer can have on the success of a record. Get the best engineer your budget can afford.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital! Work flow and limitless creativity. A sonic compromise? Maybe. But it's only getting better with time.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that I get to combine both creative and technical skills. It's a moment when my nerdy side can feel kind of cool :)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: We simply pan pots and set levels...
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Telefunken ELA M251, Apogee Duet, Neve 1073, Sennheiser HD600 and an old Martin acoustic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: John Mayer, no doubt. He is the reason I started music, and am doing what I am doing today.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take a break! It's amazing how small amounts of time away can actually be more beneficial than trying to aimlessly push through a mix.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to the track a couple times before touching anything or making my mind about anything. This helps me identify what I need to bring out in the song to best capture its vibe. Then I tackle the most important instruments in the song and ensure that they reflect the vibe of that initial vision. Then I tweak the instruments that sit second and third in the priority list to support those important elements. Next I like to bounce the song as a first pass, come back and listen to the song. Here is where I discover things that still bother me and I tackle those elements until I am satisfied. Now I'll usually send a bounce to the client and go back to make necessary revisions if need be.
