He crafts his own unique flavor into each style and genre you need. I give my highest recommendation for all of your music needs and dreams.
Johannes Steinray is a very talented composer! He has the rare abillity to compose a great melody both in terms of modern pop music but especially themes for films or other types of AV productions.
Interview with Johannes Steinray
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I feel very lucky to have always been involved in music since a very early age. This mean that I only had two "normal" very short term jobs. The rest of life I have been involved in music as performer, composer, bandleader etc. and through this career I have been inspired, firstly by my dads record collection of Beatles, Jazz & Blues which made me travel to New York from Denmark at age 19 to meet and perform with my heroes. From teachers at New School of Jazz & Contemporary music to session players in the NY jazz scene, to Musicals, Theatre and Ballet and all the amazing art Manhattan offers, I was lucky to meet people like Ray Brown, Woody Allen, Toni Bennett, play in Manhattans jazz clubs and venues, work with performance groups touring USA which among incredible experiences lead to my larges live performance in Washington DC, for an audience over 250k people.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: With a 30 year+ Music career, I am mainly involved in 3 music functions: Writing, Performing & Coaching. 1. Composer, Songwriter, Pianist, Orchestra, String, Brass & Choir arranger. 2. As a bandleader I developed into a music coach and worked behind the scenes of various talent shows in US, AUS, UK, France & Scandinavia. As Musical Director & Vocal Coach. 3. As a performer and session musician, I play piano & keyboards.
