Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I enjoy listening to and learning from songwriters and producers like Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Brian Wilson and Mark Ronson among others.

A: Whatever is needed!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm not just a drum machine, but I'm interested in taking the song to another level.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Feel free to contact me to discuss the project, as I am passionate about my work.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Just my acoustic drums, since there is no electricity;)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I receive the track and, if possible, audio and style references. In this instance we also discuss specific requirements. Then, between 5 and 7 days, the client will receive 1 to 3 versions, depending on the complexity of the song. If necessary we can hold a virtual chat to discuss the details.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: the last artist who was in charge of all the musical production where I recorded drums, percussions, synths, some basses and drums programming as well. It was a long work of approximately 1 year and a half and a very large production where the specific sounds of each drums, synths and everything that was recorded were searched. The result was very good, His name is ROJOBARCELO and you can find material on my website.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: First I ask him about his favorite styles and musicians and about the direction the song should take.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been working as a session percussionist drummer for more than 15 years on studio recordings and for different bands, singer-songwriters, and producers for different record companies around the world.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: My dream is to work with an artist like Steve Wonder because I think he is an incredible artist in all his sense.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My advice is always to listen carefully to what the song requires and keep its essence.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always keep a focus on the groove, prioritizing the essence of the song and maintaining the purity and quality of the sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: You send me the tracks, I record them in my studio with the best professional quality and finally I send you the recorded tracks. Upon request i can send the multitrack session of the drums.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: As always recording drums and percussion in my recording studio. I am also producing 2 Argentine artists and a great singer-songwriter from Uruguay. Meanwhile finishing composing some songs for my instrumental duo.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I am a person with many years of experience, which made me develop a lot of patience and attention to what the artist I work with requires. I am lucky to have a studio and a very good recording team and that helps a lot to achieve what the artist wants when recording.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I record many music with different genres, from rock, pop, funk, hip hop grooves, songs for singer-songwriters and all kinds of world music, Brazilian and Latin rhythms.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I can enhance a song to its fullest thanks to years of experience recording as a session drummer and producer for bands, artists and producers of record companies.
