Working with Matt was the most pleasant experience; we communicated often and achieved a great result in no time. Hope we continue working together!
Matt Thompson's album has the variety I look for in an album. Usually it's good percussion and minor chords that draw me into an album, which this album definitely has, but also has catchy lyrics, good rhythm, danceability, and each track has singalong potential. Honestly love it, there's something for pretty much every listener.
Matt Thompson’s music has it all. From his soothing and alluring voice to his catchy yet raw and emotional lyrics, his songs are my go-to for any mood/situation. His lyrics perfectly capture the twenty-something experience. His first album, No Shame, was amazing from start to finish. I can’t wait to hear what he puts out next!
His music is just amazing. There’s really no other words to describe the talent Matt possesses! Definitely one of my most listened to artists on Spotify!
Matt’s passion for music exudes FROM his music. His voice is crisp and clean, and his lyrics are creative and l feel what he is conveying through them. He was one of my top artists in my Spotify 2020 year in review and I love his music!
I’m a huge fan! Matt has such a way with words it almost guarantees his songs will be on repeat. Such is the case with ‘Wish You The Best, Wish You The Worst’. It’s so catchy, heartfelt and really showcases his range as an artist.
Matt is an INCREDIBLE artist!! His songs are so well written and his talent - WOW!! I’m so impressed and I can’t wait to hear more!
Matt Thompson is a hidden gem who, much like an author, has a talent for offering a relatable narrative through his music. The power behind his lyrics lies in the fact that they successfully capture the human experience: love, loss, failure, redemption, and the complexity one feels when they confront these emotions. The vocals of Bear with Me are playfully pleasing while packing an emotional punch. Wish You the Best is a catchy, powerful song that I could easily hear being played on the radio or a film’s soundtrack. His songs are diverse, bringing something to the table for any listener.
I have listened to Matt Thompson for years. His song writing is fabulous with relatable lyrics.
Great voice and amazing songs.
I highly recommend him.
This album is so relatable and you can tell the lyrics are personal. Wish you the best, wish you the worst has been on repeat since it dropped. Not only is it catchy, but it’s heartfelt. I could listen to Matt’s voice on repeat all day. Can’t wait to hear more of his music.
I stumbled upon this album on Spotify and WOW I was truly amazed. Something fresh and new we definitely need more of in the music industry!!
