Hi there! I am an NYC - based session and live guitar player with over 15 years recording experience and a collection of hundreds of records. I have a variety of specialties ranging from contemporary to classical to heavy metal, amongst others.
Using a state of the art recording studio with top of the line microphones, pre-amps, a large selection of instruments, and an audio interface, I am able to track electric and/or acoustic guitar for your single, EP, full-length album, film soundtrack, commercials, or any other needs.
How this works:
- We discuss the genre and what you are looking for from the guitar portion
- When possible, I encourage my clients to provide a reference to the type of style and sound desired
- Depending on your preference, I can record a single guitar track or multiple guitar tracks to produce a richer sound or stereo sound
- Tracks are then recorded remotely and sent directly to the client
My goal is to work with you and help you create commercial ready tracks for your project. Please feel free to send an email to discuss details. I typically respond within a couple of hours.

A real pleasure working with Ziv, a very emotive guitar player - great ear for the most fitting style.
Ziv is an excellent guitarist and a pleasure to work with amazing person too!
If you see Ziv amongst your proposals, just tell him: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.
I mean I worked with various guitar players and I always had to come back for corrections. He really has over 15 years of practice behind him and has a very good ear which is a rare gift. One thing is to be a good guitar player and another to have a good ear and he has both. And knows music theory and the terminology.
What else could you ask for?
Very pleasant to work with. He really went out of his way to help me get a project done within hours of asking. I am super thankful for the kindness and great customer service that I was given by Ziv. I plan to use him for future projects.
Ziv is a great guitar writer
good work flow, nice to work with, very fast delivery
We did a trial run for some music that we needed and we absolutely loved Ziv's work. We look forward to him working on the rest of the project as well. Fantastic work so far and very timely deliveries without any delays at all.
I'm completely new to making music. Ziv was patient and helped answer any of the questions I had. If you work with him, you will be completely satisfied.
Ziv is one of kind musician and producer, he played and recoded with my Celtic fusion band at festivals and venues on east coast of USA, a true professional musician, second to none.
To say that Ziv is great at many things is kind of an understatement.
His creativity, passion, professionalism and dedication to his craft is truly something that should be experienced by all.
I have hired Ziv to play in many different musical settings; whether for live or recording work.
He’s simply beautiful.
Playing authentically in any style with creativity, passion and musicality makes him a far more valued guitarist and musician than most. His background in music production and mixing just adds to his musical insight when creating guitar tracks.
Triple thumbs up on all levels.
One of the greatest musicians I have ever worked with!! His audio production skills are only second to his brilliant guitar work! He Arranged and produced our 2006 album The Vinyl Stash Variety Bash- which we all couldn’t be more happy with- And he is currently tasked to arrange, produce, sing back-ups and play guitar on our new concept album Healter Skelter The Musical- which is currently being developed for musical theatre- Ziv’s contributions have been priceless!!
Ziv is terrific. He's turn around time is quick and he really nails the sounds i'm after. We've been working together for the past 5 years. He's the guy to go to when it comes to any type of guitar tracks.
Can't recommend him highly enough.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am producing a Musical.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes. Yoed Nir is incredible Cellist. and Roy Kariok is a fantastic guitarist. Both are wonderful audio engineers as well.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. but! It's all about the speed of delivery thesis days, so Digital takes the lead.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: %100 money back guarantee if they are not satisfied with my work.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Everything. I am very passionate abut what I do.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If I can drop down the price for a project. I usually do that for first time clients.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Sometime I think people realize I am a professional producer as well.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: To have a clear vision of what they are looking for.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To have a clear vision of what they are looking for. A reference is wonderful so I could pin point the sound they are after.

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Correspondence. I am very quick to get work done. Nothing lingers, even if I am busy.

A: I try to bring first and foremost my own creativity and sound. What the song really needs beyond my personal taste. and depending on the project, radio friendly or commercial sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I first discuss the genre and what you are looking for from the guitar portion When possible, I encourage my clients to provide a reference to the type of style and sound desired Depending on your preference, I can record a single guitar track or multiple guitar tracks to produce a richer sound or stereo sound. Tracks are then recorded remotely and sent directly to the client. I start with charting the song, opening a new project on PT, deciding what tempo the song is in, and laying out the tracks starting with rhythmic parts and all the way to the lead parts.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run Protools on a custom Mac. I use the Apollo 8p as an interface with its magnificent plugins. I have a Whirsperroom isolated booth to maximize mic'ed recording and isolation. I have a variety of amps such as Fender Vibrolux and Marshall JCM800. Endless effects and pedals. I use microphones such as Neumann87, AKGC414 and Royer 121. I always use the best high performance cables. Most of them are Mogami. I also use S-gear and Helix.
