Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I listen to the track and record some lines for the melody and write a few lyrics-vox ideas. I listen to the rythmic patterns and create the melody like an emotional intutive mirror. I write the top melody lines and then add the lyrics. Record 3 vox takes plus harmonies plus ad libs Send for re-viewing

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Music included in a Film documentary ¨PRIMe!¨ by Et-Co. Nominated best Documentary in Sant Andreu de la Barca International Film Festival, Barcelona. A film by La producktiva Films, directed by Nando Caballero. I sang and wrote the top line and lyrics with music co-writers David Chueca Folch, Antonio León, Mariano Varela.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: On an original album by SONi ¨Forces¨, exploring Electronic Pop (90s Massive Attack, Postishead to contemporary Lorde, Robyn Roykssop with producers Xevi Collado and Albert Hanso (Moon Vision).

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That they will enjoy team-working with me and find the right empathy and essence for the work on song about to be created.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The imaginative Musical submersion.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Normally they ask me if I like the track. and my ideas, or where do I see it going. Also we discuss how to proceed in terms of communication, price, deadlines etc.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That is doens´t take a creative emotional process.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: In terms of the creative work for the tune: Tell me your emotions on the song, actual imagery or memories that suggest to you? References Hear any words? What would you like to communicate? What songs would you link, associate to this creation? What singers do you like or hear for this track?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Be honest.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: 20 years. Since 1999 I have been developing my singing and writing craft.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Chiaroscuro Colured. Abstract. Chilled or rhythmic. Imaginative. Intuitive. Poetic. Story- telling. Rich. Hypnotic. Fluid.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Royksop!! Their songs, production moves me.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Listen for the intuitive. It has more to say that you can.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Electronic Pop, Soundtrack, Dance-Pop, Trip-Hop, Folk, World, Songwriter.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Melody writing.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I´d say personality, vision, imagination, possibilities, energy and empathy. On the actual skills, Creative Vocals. Artistic Singing craft. Dynamic melodies. Powerful lyrics. Sometimes poetic. Sometimes abstract.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Roykssop´s production fascinates me. Also Lana del Rey. MAssive Attack definetely. As artists I´d choose Lorde as a genre developer and Beth Gibbons on the Vocals and the writing. Billie Elish on the top lining. Snap for the Groove. Grimes for the risk and innovation.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I normally write and sing the topilner melody along with the lyrics. Either in English, Spanish and Catalan. I record a demo with melodic ideas and lyrics send it to client, after it has been approved I record the final tracks at Marlee Records Recording Studio

A: Neumann Mic, Universal Audio Apollo Interface, gyraf valve preamps and dynaudio speakers.
