Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love discovering the stories behind the songs of each artist I work with. Creating great friends doing music together is the best.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Usually, I try to get a pristine sound keeping the energy and emotion of the song, achieving a final mix as a whole picture.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I work on all types of music, but I generally get called for all types of Pop, Rock and Singer-Songwriter projects.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both! it's the best way to work for me.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I have discovered over the years that my best skill is the passion for what I do, I love working with new projects and different artists and learning new ways to understand music.

A: I like to work in different ways and always be creative during any music production or mixing process, I usually try to listen what the artist wants to express and contribute my experience to achieve his goal.

A: Please email about your music. Every project and artist are special and unique, I'm glad to open way to team work and take your music to your best expectations!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Just my u47 mic, a laptop and a good interface, and the most important thing... music ideas!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been recording, producing and mixing artists for more than 10 years in my studio Marlee Records, located in a quiet and lovely artistic village near Barcelona. I have been fortunate to work with many different artists and projects, all kinds of genres and styles. I have also developed my own projects as a musician playing in different festivals and cities of Spain.

A: Me gusta trabajar de maneras diferentes y ser siempre creativo durante todo proceso de music production or mixing.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually like to ask how does their music make them feel, that's the way I can understand the vibe and the feeling. What would they want to convey with their music is important to me, so I can do my best to help reach their satisfaction.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: The best tip I can give you is to have fun making music!

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Normally my clients contact me to mix and produce their songs. I work in my own recording studio Marlee Records and that helps to have the option of recording any instrument like drums, guitars, vocals ... After more than 10 years working professionally I have been able to work with many many artists helping them to reach their best.
