Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I always ask for reference tracks. That way I can tell who the clients influences are and it gives me a good direction to go in. It also gives me a good understanding of the client and what they are like artistically and allows me to ask more questions after that to understand the project better.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Usually I work on a hybridization of Electronic Music (Dubstep, Future Bass, Trap, House) and Cinematic/Orchestral Music. I really love mixing both type of music together and it brings a really interesting combination.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Usually when I work on a song, I work from start to finish. If a client has a job they want me to work on, I will work on a particular section and once that section is done, I will send it to the client. Once I get the OK I will move onto the next. This way the client is able to make their voice heard in all aspects of the process.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: The most common type of work I do for clients is music production. I specialize in a mix of cinematic and electronic music, which blends the acoustic and emotive nature of cinematic orchestral, together with the hard hitting, synthetic, highly driven EDM tracks.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Make sure that before booking a provider like me, that the sound of the provider is what you are looking for. I wouldn't gamble on having any producer making what you're looking for. If you know what you want and what others can provide, you can really get the most from the money you've paid. As well as that, it's super important to communicate what you want in a lot of detail, so that way the person doing the service can do what you require without needing to ask too many questions and without reading into what you want incorrectly. In detailing what you are looking for as well, we can paint a picture of what you want and can properly confirm what you want from us. If your mind is changed when the track is almost finished. If the changes are large and the changes aren't in line with the original discussion, the project as a whole can become a lot harder because we have been told one thing and then another later on. This could require extra fees, so it's important to communicate exactly what you want.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: The strongest aspect about my music is definitely my composition. Studying it at Uni opened up a lot of creative doors that I otherwise would not have thought of if I hadn't studied the subject.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Even though people say that production is super important, nothing is going to beat a well composed track. If the track has a great groove and movement, it will definitely do better than something that is dull and lifeless in comparison. I guess what I'm trying to say, is really think about what you're writing because a good production won't fix a bad song.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My music is a blend of the future and the past. Modernism and classical design. Orchestral and Electronic. Feast Your Ears.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with Hans Zimmer. I really feel that I could learn a lot working with him. I feel like our artistic styles would meld pretty decently as well.
