Songwriter and Producer with a big bank of songs ranging in pop, electronic, indie, cinematic and hip-hop. Once with Universal Records I have toured, played Warped Tour, and supported such acts as; The Damned Things (Fall out Boy, Anthrax, Every Time I Die), Colbie Caillat, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I produce melodic tunes with a modern approach.
I can write and compose your song for any need. I can also finish an idea you are stuck on. If you send me stems of your project I can add on what is necessary and complete your song. I am skilled and experienced writing guitar, drum, bass, string, horn, key/synth and vocal parts. Lastly I can mix and master your song with an additional cost.
I specialize in melodic, emo pop music but can adapt to any style with a modern approach.

Interview with Eric Lorenzo Rios
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: YES! A couple!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. But love those Analog harmonics :)
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I will create something of substance for you.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To be open and honest and to know we will create something to the best of our abilities.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take my laptop (daw installed), interface, midi keyboard, guitar and mic.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing music for over 10 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is melodic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Justin Bieber. I really think he has come into his own.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Constant movement.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on electric melodic pop emo music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is being able to write and produce music like second nature.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'd like to think I bring honesty to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process is different every time. There is a specific way I approach my songwriting, depending on what vibe or feeling we are trying to evoke. I like to express my feelings with my music. Sometimes my base will be a drum part and then I like to layer off of that. Other times it can be a guitar part I came up with that ends up being an entire song. Adding texture and meaning. I can write a song a day.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently run PreSonus Studio One 5 with a Focusrite Clarett 4Pre Interface. I use Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 ohms headphones and M-Audio BX5 Speakers. I have professional industry standard plugins ranging from EQs, Dynamics, Delay, Reverb, Effect, Saturation, Harmonic, Modulation, Sound Field, VST Instruments... etc.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have always been inspired by music that tells a story and that evokes feeling. Some of the greats such as David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, The Beatles and Elton John have inspired me and shown that music is a feeling with a story. I am also very inspired by the modern scene. Artist like Justin Bieber, The 1975, Drake, The Weekend, Marshmello and Machine Gun Kelly are able the bring a song to life and that is something I try to do as well.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Producing, writing and composing full length songs to my clients aesthetic and needs.
