Rock/Alt/Indie Mixing Engineer

Over the past several years, I've worked with Colin on two Echodrone albums (Five and Past, Preset and Future) and a handful of covers. I can say without a doubt that he is one of the best mix engineers that I've ever come across. He has an amazing ear, is incredibly creative with his mixes, and always brings out the best in our songs. Still not sure how he's able to take all of our disparate tracks (recorded in various rooms in different parts of the country) and make them sound like we've been in the same room the entire time...amazing! Can't recommend him highly enough!!

I've done one release with Colin and am working on another. I've had a few EPs and things come out in the past that have been the same process with not nearly the same results as Colin has put out. He interprets my visions like none other and is able to bring out my best qualities while supporting my weaknesses. Simply put, I sound good and Colin makes me sound great. Simply put - I consider Colin to be part of my band and creative process. I've partnered with him across two releases and a few singles and he's been an essential element to the huge and gorgeous sound on those releases. His passion for the music I make and the overall indie scene is infectious. I've learned a ton working with him - he offers great advice on the recording process and has made me a better musician and recordist in the process. Highly recommended!
