Hi! I'm Robert, better known as Oha Cade. I'm the composer of the symphonic/prog metal project Valcata, which received widespread acclaim from media outlets such as Metal Hammer and Femme Metal Webzine. My focus is generally in metal, but other genres I'm passionate about include pop, R&B, hip-hop, classical, and movie scores.
I offer composition and songwriting services. If you need a full song written, or a contribution to an existing song, I'd be excited to hear about it. I write both music and lyrics. I can write based on sample songs you send me, or come up with an original composition from scratch based on your vision. I use Guitar Pro to compose, from which I can export quick MIDI audio previews, as well as PDFs of the score for musicians to work from.
If you've already written your song but don't know where to start in order to make it reality, that's where my production services come in. I'll organize and oversee all aspects of the creation of your music. I'll source the best musicians, mixing and mastering engineers according to your budget, and liaise with them to provide creative direction and feedback. Every step along the way will be approved by you. The main goal will be to make sure it comes together according to your vision.
Unfortunately, I do not specialize in transcription. While I have a solid foundation of music theory, I am mostly self-taught, so any jobs that require a heavy focus on theory are not the best fit for me.

I had the awesome opportunity to record drums for a complete concept album for Robert! He has written a very thought-out story and I am super happy to be a part of that! 9 songs and about 50 minutes of music. It was quite a challenge during the last few weeks but it was worth it because I've learned a lot! I'm stoked on how the final results will sound once the album is finished! :)
