Electric Bass player with demonstrated skills and technique, highly adaptive regarding genre and style of music
I'm Chris. Music has been my passion from a very young age. I have collaborated with a variety of bands, working as a session musician, recorded 14 full length albums and attended a number of live shows and tours. Always eager to learn new things around music, I'd be glad to get some bass lines for your tracks.

Chris provided a solid and great sounding bass track for my original tune. He followed the schedule as promised and made extra efforts to modify parts to meet my vision. Thanks Chris!
If Jabba the Hut was musician he would play bass and his biggest inspiration would be Chris!
He would spend countless hours researching what gear Chris used. What amps? What pedals? Watching YouTube videos, etc...
But no matter how hard the mighty Jabba tries. He'll never be as good as the original.
Chris did a fantastic job for the song and the bass was recorded and edited absolutely fine.
Looking forward to working with him again.
Somewhere.... Out there.... There is a frequency so deep scientists are out of ideas as to where it comes from? A low ominous rumble that causes men and women alike to become aroused yet confused? They don't know why they feel the way they do, but they like it. To this day the mystery remains unsolved. Personally I think this big sexy sound is coming from Chris's studio? Will we ever know?

When you look at images of mount Olympus you may not be aware? What you are actually seeing is a visual representation of Chris's tone.
Some say, his tone is actually what caused the mountains to be pushed up from the earth.
What can I say? I've done 5 tracks with Chris now and the last one consisted of a revision 0.5 seconds long! Essentially nailing it in one go! Can't argue with that! Top stuff.
If you have ever sat down to record an instrument you may know how difficult it can be. Chris is well experienced and accomplished in the realm of Bass Bad Assery!
Chris puts up with my fussy pain in the back side and I really appreciate it! He's playing is detailed and professional. Love it!
My Second track completed with Chris.
A second great experience.
Working with a musician in a room is challenging. Working online via email is also quite challenging but Chris is able to navigate through the inter webs of confusion and deliver wicked sounding Bass!
He's the best in the field.
That's why so many people want to work with him.
I recommend working with him.
Don't let the image of Chris sitting quietly with his bass fool you. This guy can seriously rip it up on heavier tracks and his tone sounds like a tank rolling menacingly down a war torn street! Highly recommended!
I've worked with Chris on almost 10 songs now and he still impresses me every time
Chris continues to be the glue that pieces all of my projects together. His writing, performance and sound are all top notch
As great as always! Highly recommended! I'm looking forward to work with him again!
After doing several songs with Chris of various styles Ive concluded there is no other bassist out there I would rather use
Ive used Chris twice now and he does not disappoint. Perfect tone and his writing and playing a great
Fantastic player and writer of parts. His recorded bass parts were unbelievable upon delivery and sonically sounded clear and immense. Chris worked quickly as well

Interview with Chris Kollias
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After receiving the stems or the separate tracks, I setup everything in a project and check that all is fine. If there are certain instructions or guidelines I follow them and create a rough track for the recording. After sorting everything out and having the final form of the bass track, I record it with fresh strings and final takes.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to create lines that will serve the song as a whole, pushing it with energy.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Adaptable and flexible
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of my completed jobs are metal related
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In general I am obsessed with signal pathing. Always trying to improve and offer top quality. I run my gear through Red Sound cables, into a Line Audio 2MP preamp & RME ADI2 conversion. I am using an RME Raydat pci-E audio interface for maximum workload and 0 latency. Using Cubase 10 as my DAW. I have a pair of KRK Rokit monitors and DT770 Pro headphones.
