I like to bring atleast a little if not WAY more of my Indian influences into whatever I play. You'll hear it. I'm a rock/fusion guitarist, although I have experience with Blues, Jazz and Funk guitar too.
I am a Rock/Fusion and Electronic guitarist. I have graduated from Berklee College of Music, Boston and hold a degree in Arranging and Songwriting as well.
I have played many sessions and live concerts in the regional music industry in India. I also have experience playing Blues, Jazz and Funk guitar.
I treat every project as a different experience with it's own nuances. What I like from a client is usually rough tracks when they are still working on the project and I like to sit with the track and play around and get a lot of ideas down and then one through composed track down. So what I end up sending the client is one through composed track from start to finish and a bunch of ideas that they may have not initially thought of that they can then use in whatever way they like.
I have a lot of different plugins that I work with and I mostly work on Logic Pro X.
Most of all, I really like to have fun with songs and love it when it's a really collaborative process where hopefully you walk away with elements in your song that you wanted to hear when you conceived it.

It was a great experience. Vik brought in a fresh perspective to the track and that too well within our deadline. I think he understood what was our expectation and delivered that and some more. I especially liked the guitars that he played on the track. Wish him the best and will definitely work with him again.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically fill in Guitar parts onto existing sessions or if geographically possible, work with the arranger/composer in the studio to build the track from scratch. When it comes to Songwriting, if I'm writing lyrics, I typically have a meeting with the co-writer and depending on how they want it, either go off and write or collaborate to elevate what they already have. If I'm top-lining or just providing music to existing lyrics, that always is much more of a collaborative process.
