Daniel Holter

Mixer, Producer, Licensing

Daniel Holter on SoundBetter

I am a mixer, producer, songwriter/composer, and I own (with some investors) and operate (with a kickass team) a global publishing company called The License Lab.

I have composed and/or produced thousands of cues currently being used by such varied clients as Apple, Nike, Google, Microsoft, GM & Gatorade, virtually all of the top shows on HBO, ESPN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all across the globe in tv, radio, advertisements, videogames and film.

My studio Wire & Vice is located in a 1930's era post office near Harley Davidson and the original Miller brewery just outside Milwaukee, WI, and was designed with the help of renowned acoustic architectural firm Russ Berger Design Group. We've enjoyed client visits from the likes of Rihanna, Skillet, Eric Benet, Maritime, Willy Porter, and Chester French... and are now a (mostly) private use facility with a tracking control room, a live room, 2 composing suites, and a mix room.

I’ve done mixes for Field Report, Collections of Colonies of Bees, WebsterX, Eves Karydas, Abby Jeanne, Dead Horses, Nick Lowe, Over The Rhine, Amos Lee, Blitzen Trapper, Los Lonely Boys, Phil Keaggy, Crowded House, Northern Room, YØUTH, Ryan Higa and David Choi... and am currently accepting select projects throughout the year.
